this is by far the weirdest story i have ever heard so far in my life. heard this one through grapevine though it's 100% truth. anyways, let's get on with it.

there's this couple. they had been married atleast for more than 8 years. they have four kids too. what happened is that, recently this lady had a miscarriage during the fourth month of her pregnancy and apparently she had some bleeding problem for quite a number of days. [during which apparently they wouldn't be doing THE sexual stuff].
here comes the best part. apparently, this lady got so depressed about not being able to satisfy his man sexually, she actually went [at noon] and brought some girl FOR her husband to satisfy him! yes, this is true!
i mean, i have heard about the husband going and cheating on his wife and all..but a WIFE going to fetch a MISTRESS for the HUSBAND? i seriously was speechless. i asked double triple times if this was really true. it really is.
dear god, what is the world coming to? oh and apparently, this bastard of a husband was recently caught red-handed in the act with the sister of his wife! this sister would be some 15 years of age. they were BOTH naked with no piece of clothing on ANY of them. and, it didn't look like a rape or abuse to the mother of these two siters who saw the act. aaaaad guess what?? The dad of the sisters went like "massala jassaakah beynumeh noon..emyhunge [the couple's] dharinthah balan jeheyny mashah eyrun".. CAN YOU BELIEVE THIS? much to my surprise, its TRUE!!

i dont find it that surprising though im not saying its normal.hehe. but that part about the girl being 15? now thats sick. i guess since the wife had four kids she was thinking about them. and she was afraid that her husband would leave her if he didnt get sex. then what of the four kids? im sure she mustve thought about the future of the kids and herself. maybe she felt she would be alone her whole life if she got divorced. afterall, now she is comin with a package and guys dont go for that.i guess thats a sacrifice she made. maybe she figured if her husband was gonna have sex with someone it would be someone of her choice. so that it wont leak and wont bring shame to their name. he'd be gettin the sex he wanted and in return she would stay married, her kids would grow up happy not knowing whats really going on behind the curtains. maybe the guy had cheated on her before which led her to do it this way this time. ive personally heard some weird stories and confessions myself. welcome to the real world. its unfortunate how women are oppressed and pushed down by their husbands to such an extent that they are forced to do such things for the so called greater good.

umm..the whole island knows of this incident..and yeah, the girl the wife brought for the husband is well-known in the island to have been seeping around.
and yeah, that's what i want to imply as well. that isn't it about time wives stood up for their rights and all? i know she would care about the kids but still..if she gives in like that, wouldn't it get worse? i just find this whole thing more disturbing than surprising.
they wont stand up. they cant. except maybe a handful. even if they stand up it would be if they get some guy to take them if they do get a divorce. but surprisingly enough they would really know how to complain about it saying she wont take this anymore. but when the time comes it would turn out to be all talk and no action taking cover in the words "im doing this for my children" or be in denial for the rest of their lives.
Dammmn!! whoever that guy is he must be one filthy-wealthy rack!! i bet my life i'm right!!

How I see how we can avoid such problems is that, instead of the Kasauti mentality we have been feeding our women for centuries, we should strive to enlighten them to become economically independent.
In most cases in Maldives, the wife is economically dependent on the husband so she doesn't have much choice but to go on quietly in her suffering.
We also have to decriminalise extra-marital sex and if possible allow people to be single parents and also allow adoption of children.
(These rights should be extended to same-sex couples as well because who are we to deprive any humans of their rights, their choices, their way of life as long as they don't bother anyone else? This is the mistake that California recently made by banning gay marriages. I know that in later years, Californians who voted for the ban, will realise the gravity of the mistake they have made by denying a minority of humans their inalienable rights while at the same time having made the right choice in preventing cruelty to animals.)
If this arrangement is made, women will not be sexually dependent and will not hesitate to divorce their husband if he is found to be cheating.
If he has an insatiable sexual appetite and the woman by choice decides to stay with him because they both mutually respect each other, I don't think it would be a problem for both of them in either the woman or the husband getting sex from other people. I know friends who have been in such so-called "open relationships" and it doesn't affect the bond he/she has with each and every "friends with benefits". In fact, they agreed that as human beings everyone should all be able to expand horizons and develop and maintain relationships with other human beings for physical and mental survival.
In the case of Maldivian women, they quietly suffer because, in addition to economic dependency, they are also sexually dependent on their husband, and is afraid if he might leave her, because that then means no company, no relationship, no sex, etc.
But if women in our society are allowed to be single parents, they can still have children, have sex with men of more understanding and caring, and lead independent and private happy lives or independent happy lives WITH a husband or partner.
You'd be surprised how often things like this happen, especially the girl been 15 year old part, child abuses, even those who abuse there own children it, simply because reporting him would make life much more difficult for his family.....really sad actually

@hilath umm sorry to differ but i wouldn't give my vote for anyone to go for an open relationship coz i simply dont believe in that. why anyone can't stay married or be in a relationship with someone for a lifetime WITHOUT cheating or being in an open relationship beats me. although i do agree with the making women more independent economically rather than sexually. here's what i think..if u get marrried once, stay faithful! if u think u can't be, then go for a divorce and take the responsiblity of kids, if any.

Not surprised. There are many maldivian wives, who ask their husbands to seek new ones, to cover up scandals and sexual black mailing arising from within the family of the wife.
Someone should study this phenomena. It is usually the wife/mother who do the covering up for their perpertrators, in the name of protecting their daughters dignity, while turning a blind eye to these sorts of horrific events.

ain't we humans are pathetic? When there are thousands of couples living happily together, we are only interested in talking of the few weird characters... Truth is, I find the talking more pathetic than the characters, who have defects, more like sick! Anyways, just keep looking and you shall find what you are looking for, eventually...
